Please join us for a conversation with Costa Rica’s Ambassador to the United States, the Honorable Fernando Llorca Castro. We will discuss investment trends in the region generally, as well as political and economic issues that may be affecting finance and investment in Costa Rica specifically. This luncheon will be the first of a three-part «Embassy Series» exploring current issues and perspectives regarding trade and investment in the Americas.

The series is co-organized by the IABA D.C. Chapter, the International Investment and Finance Committee of the D.C. Bar International Law Community and the International Law Institute. 

The next event in the series will feature the Brazilian Embassy (April 23, 2019), and the final event in the series will feature the Peruvian Embassy (May 8, 2019).

Pre-registration for this program is encouraged. As always, please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues. D.C. Bar membership is not required to attend. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 11:30 am. Lunch and networking begins at 11:45 am. Program content starts at 12:00 pm.
