Seminar in Miami

At a Seminar held in Miami on March 12, 2009 at the JW Marriot Hotel in Miami, on "Corporate Counsel Perspectives on the Inter-American Legal Practice for 2009 and Beyond", co-sponsored by the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, the South Florida Group of Regional Counsel and the University of Miami School of Law, six (6) Past Presidents of the Inter-American Bar Association were participants: Salvador J. Juncadella, who was the Seminar Chairman, as International Consultant for Morgan Lewis, Alfredo Fournier, A.J. Bennazar, Mercedes Arauz de Grimaldo, Arturo De Sola and Renaldy J. Gutierrez. Also present was George Harper, the next IABA President.
The Seminar had a record attendance (this was the 6th Seminar) with 170 participants, 27 speakers and representation of more than 15 countries in the Hemisphere. There were high Florida Bar Credits for Florida Lawyers and intensive network and interaction between participants.

El pasado 23 de julio, en Reunión del Consejo de Ministros, el Dr. Francisco José Barrientos fue nombrado Director Alterno en el Consejo Directivo del Banco Central de Reserva de El Salvador, propuesto por el Sector Privado. Dr. Salvador Juncadella (IABA Former President)

Has been honored by Cuban Bar Association in Exile's "Ignacio Agramonte y Loynaz Award" for his lifetime achievement in the practice of law. A Past President of the Inter-American Bar Association, Mr. Juncadella is long-time international consultant to the business and finance practice in Miami office of global law firm Morgan Lewis. Mr. Juncadella also is chairman of the South Florida Group of Regional Counsel of Multinational Corporations with business interest in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ha sido nombrado en la lista de abogados habilitados a ejercer la profesion ante el Tribunal Penal Internacional. El Dr. Fragoso es miembro del Consejo de la FIA por Brasil.
