On February 12, 2018, the Inter-American Bar Association (IABA), D.C. Chapter hosted the Program for the Indian National Bar Association Delegation. The Program consisted in a round of presentations by distinguished practitioners and academics, followed by an open discussion. The speakers include: (i) David Stewart, Director of Center on Transnational Business and the Law of Georgetown University Law Center; (ii) Bjorn Arp, Fellow at American University Washington College of Law Center on International Commercial Arbitration; (iii) Alex Manuel, administrative judge with the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development in Washington; (iv) Judge Anita Josey-Herring, associate judge with the D.C. Superior Court; and (v) Judge Keitaro Takemi, judge with the Tokyo District Court, administrative law division.
